I do wonder, are you able to gift a villager a custom design shirt? Or do they have to pick it up from Able Sister's themselves? In either case, maybe also display your own custom design shirt, maybe she will pick it up and reset her custom design slot? Idk. I wish you luck, even though that shirt is funny, definitely not appropriate for general use!

Do you got a source for that? The point of complaining to Isabelle is to erase inappropriate things for younger audiences or if someone just doesn't like it. That's the reason it was implemented. Seems silly they'd only temporarily remove something. It is Nintendo, though, so it's possible, but I'm skeptical overall.
