I need villager assistance please! Suggestions (CLOSED)?

Hiii! I'm going out of town this weekend and one of my unwanted villagers happened to decide to move out.

Today they're in boxes so that means I'll have an empty plot tomorrow. I really really don't want a random move in because I only have two spots left and want to hurry up and get my only dreamie Marcie, but can't because I don't have her card or access to this site for the weekend.

So any suggestions on what I could do? My last resorts are letting a random move in or hunting for her on mystery islands tomorrow. And I don't like to time travel so I can't really do anything in that regard though I'd try it this once if I get desperate (not the right word) enough.

I'd say you can try hunting for her tomorrow on mystery islands or a more guaranteed way of getting her would to straight up obtain her from someone else's island. Chances are theres someone out there who would have marcie in boxes and you could maybe ask them if you can invite her to your island. Some places to look for villager adoptions would be on here on the new neighbor network, nookazon, animal crossing discords, or the ACVillager subreddit on reddit I believe.

Update: Ended up going island hopping and found Merengue! Hooray! Thank you anyone who left a suggestion!
