I need help with plot resetting

Hello everyone. I'm trying to plot reset a villager I adopted, but it's not working.

The villager has not moved in yet. It's just his plot. I start a new character, talk with the cat on the train, check to see where the plot it... and it's in the same bad spot every time. It stays in the same exact spot, or moves slightly to the left.

I have a LOT of places in my town where a house could be build. But Kabuki is being a butt and not putting his house there. I've tried plot resetting about 50 times, but he WILL NOT MOVE. Does anyone have any advice? Is there any way for me to get him to move? Something that I'm missing?

Try completely turning off your 3 DS. Sometimes doing that will change the plotting areas. Otherwise, you just have to be patient and keep trying.

OMG I FINALLY GOT IT!!!! It's not exactly where I wanted it, but at least it's not right in front of my house and away from where I planned on building something. It took turning the DS off twice and plot resetting about 80 times, but Kabuki is FINALLY able to build his home.
