I need help with my Dream Villagers.

So, my town is currently:

  [*]Static
  [*]Marshal
  [*]Zucker
  [*]Tangy
• Ankha
  [*]Shari
  [*]Chief
  [*]Muffy (moving in)

The ones in green are ones I know I'm keeping. The ones in red are ones I know I'm dropping. But...Ankha is there, too. And I really love Ankha, I've loved her for a while.

But I found a picture online that had Marshal and Francine drawn really adorably. And Marshal is my favorite, and Francine is one I've been on the ropes about. So...

There are four villagers I want in my town. Phoebe, Stitches, Bluebear, and Francine. Ankha is one I'm thinking of dropping, but I got her for free out of complete luck in a raffle. Also, I recently dropped both Francine and Chrissy (recently for my town) and I don't remember how far back I did. I took a hiatus for a long time so I don't know which villagers are still in the 16 in my game's memory. I haven't seen Francine in my main street so it's possible she's not there?

What I want to know is, should I drop Ankha and risk going for Francine, or should I keep Ankha?

They're both such cuties, that's a tough one :c Whoever you decide to keep, just be sure they're the one you reeeeally want! I think Ankha might be pretty popular, so if you do drop her you can probably trade her for a lot of tbt or ig bells!

Oh no the choice has just hit me hard like a truck.

Ankha just pinged me to move. What do I do!? Please, I need help...

Well, i like to think of things sometimes in terms of fate and if someone pinged me I'd probably go for it (lol) but here's my advice!
Just some things to consider:
- Have you made an extremely strong connectin with Ankha? If not, it might be interesting to have a new villager instead of being stuck with someone you've had for quite a well. If you miss her, she'll probably show up on your main street after a little while, so you can still say hi to her then. It's just the question of whenever or not you'd like to her wander around town.
- Are you sure it's Francine you want and not just a cutesy idealism of her? I'd suggest to maybe go to someone's town that had Francine and talk to her yourself and see what's up. Sometimes, villagers can look super cute in drawings or official art but you'll find they can be irritating / not that special when they're actually rendered in-game (I know you've had her before, but sometimes it's easy to forget after a hiatus!)
- And finally just ask yourself who would fit your overall town theme better. IF Ankha seems out of place because she is so themed while your other villagers are more cute and neutral, maybe go with Francine. Try to find what is making you doubt Ankha and see if you can determine exactly what you want to achieve by replace her
