I need help! Make interesting this area

I don't have any idea to make this "empty" area interesting:

At the top it must be connected with Re-Tail, so i'll remove the bushes:

Some ideas? Pic inspiration from your town? Pls let me know! ^__^

I can see that space being filled with a flower arch or wisteria trellis maybe (since you want to remove the bushes)? Or two streetlights on either side of your (newly cleared) path/tiles leading to Re-Tail?

Yes I figured you had one already but since you don't have a flower arch situated yet. . . !!! But I'm probably biased since I put a flower arch in front of my caf? and really love it. xD

If I was you, I wouldn't remove bushes and would rather make that area near re-tail be like a small flower garden that's surrounded by a small creek. It's hard to explain by words to me ^^; but, so, I mean this:
fairy type light,
flowers like surrounding the light,
and the creek (QR) surrounding the small flower garden,
and then the bushes surrounding this small fairy garden.
And I would make a small bridge in-between the bushes so it's like a walkway to this private garden.

If it wasn't this late in my place and I wasn't nodding off, I would make a sample picture in my time travelling town though...

Ahh you don't wanna make a new character to hold the path slot. Umm.
How many slots will you have, when you remove the QR that's holding the current path that's marked with red?

Anyway, I realize now ... the place must be a "main street" to the town.
I can't do garden or a fountain. D:

This may not directly help, but what I meant while talking in your town are like this, "surrounding", "creek", "light", etc.
Due to my current path girly, it doesn't look fitting to your town, but when you use an appropriate designed QR that fits your theme, how it looks changes, I guess.

Oh wow, that looks really beautiful! Where did you get the little creek/pond design, and the wooden stepping planks? Did you make them yourself, or find the QR code somewhere? I'd love to use those patterns (or something similar) in my town to create an island for my zen tablet or one of my rocks.

As for what to do in that area, I also really like the idea of a flower arch, especially if you're planning on moving the path, so the arch could go overhead. Otherwise I think you could also create a nice sitting area/mini park with a bench, flowers, possibly a QR pond, or maybe a zen tablet.

I think bringing the path straight down from Retail like you described makes the most sense. Then, you could outline the path with trees, bushes and flowers. Honestly, a little landscaping around the path might be enough because it doesn't look like you have a whole lot of space once you move the path, but if you want to build something in the area, maybe some streetlamps or a bench off to the side would be nice. You also might have room for the statue fountain.

The "rock island" looks pretty nice! I'll consider as "inspiration" for some new landscaping.

Thanks, it was my random idea, but I was too busy making QR myself at the time. It was from someone's blog, if I recall correctly.
Rock & creek is one of basic patterns, of Japanese garden, as you may know. I'd love to visit your town/dream town when you're finished landscaping<3
