Hello guys~~!♪★*☆ヽ( ^-^)/★*☆♪

I've had this Knox guy since I started the game, and no matter how many time I hit him with toy hammers and nets and decline his "pings" He just won't ping to move...(。-_-。)

Only my 4 dreamies ping to move and it's driving crazy ww~~ (? ・ω・` )

his house is also exactly where I want to put my 3rd bridge... Is there anyone who know's how to get rid of him~?

Thank you guys~~!

It's entirely random. It doesn't matter if you hit him with your hammer or handcraft him a birthday gift either way he'll move out whenever he chooses to.

The only thing that'll get him out quicker is to just tell everyone else to stay continually. Just because the process of them moving and getting a replacement will take longer than keeping them.

That's so annoying~~! ;_____; I've been telling everyone else not to move~ and sometimes it's the same villager twice in a row 。・??・(>_<)・??・。

I do hope he moves soon ;____; I want to move in my Merengue w~

Hitting villagers with nets and toy hammers, or being mean to them in general, doesn't make them want to move.

It does seem to be random. I have always had better luck being civil, if not friendly, to those I wanted to leave. ^^

I sent one of my hated villagers letters telling them to move with trash attached and they pinged me about moving a few days later.
Also, not talking to them for a week may work.

Hrmm~~ I'll try that then *sigh* it's been 6 months and I was friendly for the 1st 3-4 then it got ridiculous ;____;

I'll see how it goes~~

It's completely random unfortunately. :/ Just keep trying and I'm sure he will leave.

Oh, you can try the ~not really proven whether it was coincidence or not~ trick where you make a new character/use a mule and talk to your other 9 villagers with them and ignore the one you want to leave.

That apparently can lead to them leaving quicker. ~ I've tried it a few times (like 5 or 6) a couple of times the villager was the next/ 2nd from next villager to try to move, and the rest it seemed to do nothing. ~ infact the last villager I tried this twice on and he still stayed for almost 2 years of TTing day by day.

Can confirm. I am 2/2 with it, but I wouldn't call it surefire either.

make a new character
Talk to the villagers you want to keep constantly
Only introduce yourself to those you want to go
Tt day by day talking to those who you want to keep, so they will ping if they decide to move
Eventually the game recycles the villagers that you have only introduced yourself to

It worked for me... Let's hope it works for you

Every 4 days, like clockwork, a random villager pings me to ask me to move. In my case I always say no!

I don't know if 4 days is the standard for everyone or if it matters if you have 9 or 10 villagers???

@pikapants YES you may have him if he ever moves his bum ww~~

He is wearing a jesters T-shirt atm.. Which is hilarious as he's ment to be a knight ww~

^ to add to the above. You only need to talk to all your villagers every 6th day for them to ping you instantly when they want to move. ~ on the 7th and onwards they won't ping until you talk to them as they first need to complain about not seeing you.

Also, I find it's 1-6 days for the next villager to try to move. I normally seem to have them try to move on the 2nd and 5th days, and have only had someone else try the first day twice. (in a whole lot of TTing between 4 towns, so very rarely)

It's 3-4 *new days* for me. I used to TT 4-5 days forward and backward, and I needed to move at least 3 times forward/back before a moveout is generated. So the total actual days that elapsed may be ~10 days without anyone pinging.

It's better to move forward backward in smaller increments anyhow >>

Someone on youtube carried out an experiment. Try this-

Since you've been nice to him at some point, make a new character and introduce yourself to all the villagers in town. Then, speak to the ones you want to keep a second time, and ignore the ones you want to get rid of. Pretty soon, they'll be asking you to move. Does this help? :3
