I mean yes I need an intervention because I'm addicted to New Leaf, but also because I love just finding new villagers and cycling certain ones out. I often say I'm happy with my current villagers, but days later I find myself moving one out to move one in. I once said I'd never let the Chrissy/Francine pair go, but then I found myself not truly caring about either of them. Now I have Blanche as my snooty and adore her way more (just my personal taste). I only know that my cranky will always be Fang and Molly and Maple have been with me for a long while now and aren't leaving me. I plan to also keep Flurry with me now and Beau as my lazy. I actually thought I hated the peppies, but visually they have given me the most options to look for. Anyway I love how we can choose who we want now, and I think I need an intervention XD

I know the feeling! At this point, looking for prospective villagers is about as fun as actually getting them... and definitely more fun than trying to move them out. (Cue daggers glared at Rizzo and Axel in particular.)

Yeah it's just an aspect I enjoy. I know some people are against it. I mean I played the original in 2002 and loved the random aspect, but I love the trading and selling aspect now too. It is just how the game is now!

I used to turn my nose up at selling/trading villagers, but now I find it really fun! I feel like it adds a whole nother dimension to the game. Randomly getting an awesome villager is a fantastic feeling, but there's really something to be said for combing cycling threads for that one special critter.

I agree. I mean I was so excited to get Diana from campsite but now I have found myself seeking out villagers like Blanche. She's now my current snooty and I genuinely like her more than the other snooties I've had.

My mom is awesome. She doesn't play games, but she knows how much I love the series and she's a bit of an enabler. LOL. I originally bought a 3DS XL and ACNL at the same time. A year later, I wanted another town. My mom bought me a 2DS and a second copy of ACNL as a gift. In September 2015, I got a New 3DS XL as an "early Christmas gift" and I bought Happy Home Designer to play on it. (I ended up not liking the game much, so I mostly play ACWW on it.) Two days ago, my dad won a 3DS XL at a sporting event and gave it to me. I'm probably going to sell it; I have way too many as it is! LOL. My mom offered to buy me another copy of ACNL to play on my the console before I told her I'm thinking of selling it. I said, "No, thank you." I love the game, but two New Leaf towns and one Wild World town can be a bit overwhelming at times. I can't handle any more! LOL

The game was actually meant for us to enjoy as many villagers as we can. Nothing wrong with that! I love that we have the choice to meet and greet so many cute little animals. That is the reason I love making coffee at Brewster's. You get the chance to sample the buffet of characters who stroll in and out.

You don't need an intervention. I'm pretty sure everyone here enjoys collecting the villagers they want!

Yay the intervention is now off. I am going to just keep feeding my addiction XD

Lol I love this game too, I'm addicted to it. I now have over 3,000 hours on it (Help me o. o) It's just so fun and the animals always cheer me up when I'm down. Anyways, yeah feed that addiction! xD

Yes, and as you go through villagers there will be ones you will love and like seeing back again c: I'm really glad they added new villagers to New Leaf, it added 2 new personalities to get to know and love and lots of new villagers to experience! That's why I like cycling on my second cartridge sometimes, then I see villagers that I've never seen before. Have fun! c:
