Someone on discord asked Dizzy to move into their town, and next thing his house is closed with the phrase on the thread title. Is this suppose to happen? This is my first time letting someone adopting my villager.

Yes this is normal and not the glitch, this happens every time a villager moves after someone invites them to another town

It's only a glitch when it continues to appear days after the villager has moved out. It's normal for it to say this the same day someone picks up your villager.

Really? I could've sworn we were still able to go inside the house and talk to them after they're been adopted? Maybe my memory is off it has been 9 years lol

Nope. It was in NL as well.
