I love curlos here’s why

Curlos is a nice villager that I didn’t know if I wanted to invite him but I did and I fell in love he was funny and nice he sends me letters all the time and his house in amazing people say he’s ugly but I think he’s cute

That's the wonderful thing about having different villagers. You could be unsure about them and then suddenly fall in love with them afterwards. The ones that give you letters and gifts are the best.

I liked Curlos since New Leaf, I think he was my first smug villager to move in for me. I love when villagers become your favorite through the experiences you have with them instead of just going by looks alone, it feels more authentic to the classic era of AC in my opinion.

Curlos was my forced camper. I never really liked Sheep villagers previously, but after having Frita (starting Uchi), then Curlos, I've changed my mind. They are awesome. I like his thick brows and latino look. Since he likes to talk about being an actor, I imagine him as a starting actor aiming to star on his own telenovela.

Totally agree! When I was looking for jock villagers after Sheldon moved out, I was running low on NMT and found Coach. At first I was annoyed like "Ugh, why would I want HIM" but then I decided to look him up online and the more I looked at him, the more he grew on me. Then I saw he was the only non-lazy, non-cranky bull and I thought... that's kind of neat! I asked him to move in and I kind of love him now. I just imagine him as a retired professional coach who's never really been able to fully distance himself from his previous profession, because he's just a coach deep down... and he always will be. I love when stuff like that happens ☺

And I also agree Curlos is super cute, and I personally like the smug personality. Some people really seem to hate it, but for the most part, they're really nice but just... not self-aware. And they're ALWAYS entertaining.

I loved when Julian and Chevre, in my game, were discussing the poetry he let her read. She said something along the lines of, "I really liked the tragic, cautionary poem about the smug villager..." and Julian was just like "...what"

I never thought about the personalities of the bull villagers. I think if I ever see Coach, I might have a newfound liking towards him now because of what you shared. My favorite bull is Vic, because he's a Viking. I really hope they keep that theme for him. Rodeo also looks pretty cool. Sort of like an undead bull or something. I never new about Curlos until recently because I was looking for a species I could make with a food theme. I had found out that he used to be a cranky sheep, which I guess was unheard of later on. I also like seeing interactions with different personalities and them not really understanding each other. This interaction with Agent S and Marshal made me laugh.

I had Curlos for awhile and really liked him!
I unfortunately preferred Pietro, who's also a smug, but Curlos was a great addition to my island while I had him!
