While I'm not fond of gorillas, she doesn't look too bad (she'll probably be my favorite if I have to pick one in every species) and the hello kitty items are nice

Personally, I'm not a fan but I'm glad to see she does have fans out there that like her;-; All villagers deserved to be liked by somebody.

I agree! I thought she was a waste of a villager since I figured no one would like her. I'm glad I'm wrong and there are at least some people who do! It's not such a waste then

See, I usually love gorillas so much, but all the sanrio villagers are simply ugly af to me, so I can't deal with Rilla lmao. but good, I'm glad someone likes a gorilla around here.

I'm surprised they didn't make her a kitty, considering the items that she has!

But congrats, it's always exciting getting a card that you really want!

I'm guessing that Nintendo were told they could represent Sanrio but not copy the actual characters, since all of them are very different to the originals
A cat would have probably been too much of a similarity
