In my case, it's not that I didn't check. The two towns were side-by-side on the list and I clicked really fast. My stylist happened to hit the wrong one. I realized my mistake right away, but it was too late to stop it. It happens to most people at one time or another and it's really not a big deal.

has luckily never happened to me. i aleays try my best to check what the town i'm going to is called so it won't happen. i'd probably start crying from stress if it happened because i'm an anxious mess
I've done it before. I started dropping millions of bells. The person was like "um, whats this for?" it wasn't really awkward though bc she was one of those unique people that had her town open for anybody and was really sweet. It was just confusing and I might have been drunk at the time actually.
I don't have enough friends to screw up either, but if I did... I would be SO mortified
I'd be so embarrassed if I did that! I'd just be like "lol whoops I'm so sorry" and leave as quickly as possible, and delete that person from my friends straight away~
I only open my gates if I know somebody is on the way, but I think I'd find it pretty funny if somebody came to my town by accident. Like "... who are you and what do you want?" XD

It's funny too, I was in the middle of a trade and was right about to end the session too. I thought I recognized the mayor name/town name, but I booted ya just because I was so surprised :s sorry!

I have never had this happen to me. I always delete FCs after I trade just in case.

I can certainly see myself doing that purposely. If I got booted, I'd try and go back. I'm the kind of person that would do that just to mess about and annoy someone, however I'd stop if they genuinely didn't want me snooping around their town stealing everything (I can see why they'd boot me from the town, I guess...)! But in all honesty, if I didn't get kicked right away, I think it would be quite fun to end up in some random, strange town... You know what? I'm gonna try that. They might have some valuable stuff lurking around.
