I just talked to a villager who wants to move and told them no dont move. how long until the next villager asks to move?

I believe its up to 15 days, next time when a villager has the move out bubble, when you talk to them quit out of the game before it saves and don't complete the conversation. Don't talk to them for the rest of the day and the bubble should move onto someone else the next day!

I've found that they ask every 5-6 days when you say no.

Is that definitely correct, and if so have they changed that recently?? I swear it took weeks (would probably have been about 15 days) from the time I told Bam he couldn't leave till someone else asked!

the 5 days thing worked for me too. The though bubbles can disappear later in the day if the villager gets distracted or goes home, so maybe you missed them?

Note that they won't ask on a Sat, so if your average move out day lands on that day, it'll likely be on the Sunday.

You're probably right then, I often don't get on till evening and don't always talk to every villager straight away! Cheers
