I had yellow, and it was green, brown, black, and white if I remember correctly.Nic said:They are both the same consoles but one is in color and the other is in black & white.
You can play Silver and Gold on normal Gameboy, if I remember correctly.Smugleaf said:Red and Blue were on Gameboy and Gold and Silver were on Gameboy ColorJohn102 said:ic how u did thatFarrenTheRobot said:Red and Blue were on gameboy.pokeboy said:Quoting limited to 4 levels deep

No, the difference between the Game Boy and Game Boy Color is very similar to that of the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi. The Game Boy Color wasn't an entirely new system, just as the DSi wasn't either. It had the same graphics and played the same games (except some GBC exclusives), but with some added features (most notably color). It's exactly like DSi. Smugleaf is right IMHO. I don't know how much it matters, but Smugleaf is right.
The DSi also has games that are DSi-only, though, yet we know that it isn't a whole new system.DarthGohan1 said:Going to have to disagree here. GBC had games that were GBC-only... so even though it was backwards compatible, it was a new generation for the GB.
