So I was TT'ing around a little, day by day, making sure NOBODY moved. So I changed went to the next day, Isabelle says "OK, all set! That's right! Uh, Mayor Emre?" So I wanted to start crying (I care too much about my villagers ok? xD), then she says "I haven't seen you around lately. How have you been?" So I wanted to start crying even more because I thought I changed the month instead of the day. So I hold my breath and press forward and... NOBODY MOVED! I was SO scared and relieved, and I didn't change the month, I am sure of it. But still, I have no idea why Isabelle said the things she did.
I just had a mini heart attack...

Just something that happens with TT'ing maybe?
I've TT'ed before and for longer periods of time and this didn't happen back then :s
this happened to me the other day, too! i was very confused because i TTed backwards, from jun. 1st to may 28th (current RL date). from what i understand, going backwards any amount of time is supposed to equal one day, so when she said "we haven't seen you in a while" and my character had bedhead, i was certain that i accidentally changed the month or year- but i didn't..
