I haven't heard a new villager line in days

I've only had this game for about a month, and I've already run out of new conversations with villagers, or so it seems. Every time I talk to one of them it's always just "So, I hear you're a pro listener" or "Did you notice my shirt? It was made by Someone from Anytown". I don't remember other AC games being this limited when it comes to lines.

I too feel like there are less lines than in previous games.
