Oh great! But then I would have to remember which game card my original town is on!

Take a sharpie and write the town name on the back. If it annoys you, go at it with nail polish removal

That's not going to fit in the slot, I don't think. The slot is made so cartridges are extra, extra snug inside it.

It works. The point being don't write on your cartridge with permanent marker.

just put normal tape on the back and write on it. or peel off the front ANCL sticker and put tape there and write on it. normal tape is very slim as opposed to other types of tape.

or write on the ANCL sticker itself. or just put a dot on it. simple solutions.

I have a second town, and I wrote #2 on the game card with a pen.

There are numbers on the cards. Write it in the note section with the Town name.

I just remember the last 3 numbers on the back of my two cartridges.

My main town is '222' and my second town is '124'.

I was afraid that if I put a sticker or write something on the cartridge it would somehow muck up my game ;-;

I have more than 1 game cartridge and I just write the inital of the mayor on the back with a sharpie pen. It doesn't cause any problems with playing the game.

I have two copies and I just look at the numbers on the back. My main's last two digits are 11 and my cycling's are 13.

I just remember the code thingy on the back. My main copy is egde43(following numbers I don't remember) and my secondary copy is egde73(following numbers). Or just put a dot on the sticker with a Sharpie.
