Ok hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my thread...

I am wondering from you more knowlegbe ACNL players what's the difference between local and internet?
Also how do I make sure that those visiting don't bring axes into my village? (I was told you can check ones pockets??)

How do I make i get the flowered arch in my project list??

Also is there a "best way" to make hybrids?!

And my most important question....
How do I post photos here?!?! I use my phone or iPad and select an image but it always says "error" or "no" to my uploading it!!! I also have a Tumblr dedicated to my village and to post pix I am screen shotting them off my 3ds with my phone..then uploading them but they don't no come out as nice!!
My Nintendo image share won't allow me to access anything but Twitter or FB! HELP!

Thank you!!

Local means the person you want to play with is in the same room and you're both using the 3DS' built in online function. Internet means they could be elsewhere in the world and you connect via the internet.

You cannot check pockets. You can just follow them around. Use the WiFi ratings here as a guide to see if someone is trustworthy or not.

The flowered arch is a PWP that is suggested by normal villager personalities and you can do the diving trick to get these if you are patient enough. Otherwise, just wait and let them suggest it naturally.

Best way to make hybrids is to use fertilizer. You can buy it at the Emporium (last upgrade for shop) or buy it from people here. Make sure to always water your breeding pairs, and not other flowers. Beautiful town ordinance is recommended so that no other flowers die in this process.

Hope I've answered your questions!

The best way you can post photos is by these two ways:

  1. You take a screenshot by pressing the L and the R buttons simultaneously. After you save the game and turn off your 3DS, you take out the 3DS's SD card, insert it into your computer and look for a file in your SD card called DCIM. You can find all of your game's screenshots from there. Make sure you copy/paste your screenshots and not move them from your SD card's DCIM folder to another folder on your computer.
  2. Press the HOME button while playing the game, and from your HOME menu, press a button that has three people in green outline. It'll take you to Miiverse. Straight after the Miiverse loading screen, you're given two choices. They are Add Play Journal Entry and "Save to Screenshot Album. When you select the latter, it'll save a screenshot of your game, which you can view on your Miiverse profile on the Miiverse website.

I hope this isn't too complicated of an explanation! If you have any other questions or if you want for me to clarify on something, please let me know!

You did a fabulous job of explaining and I did the screenshots miiverse one cause I don't have a clue xinputer currently...just iPads and iPhones!!
But you didn't answer how I can post my photos on HERE

Also I don't see that anybody has mentioned it here but I am sure you already know that for anybody to visit you have to be friends with them by adding their FC, if you find people who you would like to come to your town but have other FC's added by your daughter you can always make the people you trust to visit you "best friends" on the game and when you open your gate you can select that you'd only like to allow best friends to enter, that way no other people you have added can join unless their on your BF list in the game. I'll open my gates only to best friends when I'm just doing my chores and stuff because it's nice to have random visitors sometimes, at least the ones you trust. XD.

For hybrids you want to plant the flowers in rows one space apart and stagger them like this:
XoXoX
oXFXo
XoXoX

The o's being empty space and the x's being flowers, the center F is the BEST place to plant your fertilizer.

You first go to your Miiverse profile and find the screenshot you want to share with other people. Since you use an iPad, you tap and hold that screenshot you want to share until a pop-up of actions come up. Depending on your Internet browser, it can be either be called "Copy image address" or "Copy Image Location". Either way, press that button.

Next, when making a post on this website, you scroll down to the bottom and look for a button called Go Advanced, which is below where you write your replies. When you press that button, you're given a toolbar with a lot of posting actions, including sharing your screenshots. From that toolbar, find an icon that has a picture of a tree. (it's near a video clip and an envelope!) Upon pressing that icon, you're then given an option to share your screenshots. Press the From URL tab and paste your screenshot's URL in the text bar provided. Be sure to also uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box, otherwise your screenshot won't appear. And also make sure to press Preview Post before actually posting, just in case.

I'm not sure how things work with an iPad because I never used one before, but I hope it works!

While planting flowers diagonally and burying fertilizer helps to breed hybrids, the correct flower combination and color placement is also vital. Over the years , I've visited many towns in City Folk and New Leaf and lent a hand to people who had trouble hybreeding.

You can just as easily pop out your SD and out it in your computer then upload them from there. I suggest uploading them to your tumblr first, or to imgur, then copying the IMG code. :)

I just use network to access DCIM on my PC then just copy/paste the pictures. It's more convenient than removing the SD card especially if you're playing on a new 3DS.
