I have question for UK players

Alright, my friends, friend said that there was a UK update that blocked out all glitches and censored the bad words in AC:NL. I don't really believe it because USA would get the update too. But I want an offical answer was there an update for the UK players?​

I haven't had an update, I did get a letter from Isabelle today through SpotPass but that's it.

Well I did the update thing on the Title Screen and I'm still able to swear like a Scotsman who stubbed his toe!

I got an system update yesterday, took seconds but I don't think it was anything to do with AC

I'm from the UK and the 3DS has been telling me to update for a couple of days now. I just updated it an hour ago. I doubt that's true though.
