It would be really awesome if Nintendo put Animal Forest on the wii's Virtual Console as an import game. it would be great for fans and newcomers alike.

They should: except there are two reasons not to:

1. It will be in Japanese; hard to read for English players.
2. The use of connection features will not be possible on the Wii.

They would translate the Japanese. But, Animal Forest would be very similar to Population Growing, so they wouldn't do it.
