As I said in the topic title, I have a serious procrastination problem. What makes it so serious?

For starters:
-In AP US History, I turn in incomplete homework assignments.
-In AP English 3, I did 20 dialectical journal entries 2 days before they were due. I had over 3 weeks to do them.
-In Pre-AP Algebra 2, I put off homework assignments to the day that they're due.
-Any projects that I get in any of the above classes (excluding Pre-AP Algebra 2) are usually put off a few days before they are due.

I believe I have completed the first step to fixing this problem, which is even realizing that I have one in the first place. Since I've realized this, I've tried getting rid of this problem by myself, but to no avail. I'm desperately wanting to seek help for this problem, but I don't know where to even begin. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, to get some discussion going, do any of you have a procrastination problem? What are some experiences that you've had with it?

Cut off whatever makes you not do your homework until its complete.

Why dont I do this myself?

What do you do when you're not doing these work?
Play games? Hang out?
Mostly playing games or on the computer (and no, I do not have any homework assignments for tomorrow, or for the weekend for that matter).

I think I know where you're going with this. You're going to tell me something along the lines of, "Instead of using that time for video games/computer, why not put it towards your homework?" :P

Trust me, I've tried that many, many times. It has been hard for me to force myself to do that page in the math book or those chapter questions for US History.

Not exactly.
Think of it this way. The more work you do, the better your grades will be.
Better grades means you don't have to go to summer school.
Summer School = Lame waste of a month of summer.

Oh gawd I feel your pain because I too have a serious problem with procrastination. D: Last year was Junior year, the one that counts and I did almost squat diddly. ;;_;; The thing is when I procrastinate I usually summon enough willpower to not let myself do anything fun, but not enough to actually do the work. I once spent two hours staring at a wall. OTL

1. Don't get distracted
2. Don't brag about your uber hard classes
