I have a cute villager camping but I have no room on my island

The hamster Apple is camping on my island and asked to move in, but she wants to kick out one of my favorite villagers. If I say no will she pick another villager to kick out?

I have heard that sometimes they let you pick, but if she proposes a villager and you say no, she won't choose a different one.

Instead, what you can do is keep resetting when she chooses a name (by closing the game without saving), and eventually you'll get lucky and she'll choose someone you want to move out.

omg she's cute, i enjoy her company. she will unfortunately pick a random villager. but some people do this trick where they exit quick if she picks a villager you love (to not save it)

Quit the game without saving and Apple will pick another villager to kick out.

you have to quit the game mid-dialogue to keep it from auto-saving and when you restart the game she'll suggest someone else. might need to do this a few times.

Yep. If you don't have amiibos, you can do it with any random camper. You just won't have the freedom to easily select the villager you want. The game picks one for you. But since there are no consequences for exiting the game without saving, you just keep doing so until the RGN lands in your favor.
