Ahh the joys of plot resetting, I've had this happen to me a few times before. But the placement doesnt seem too bad

From just looking at that screenshot the placement doesn't even look that bad? It's not in the way of any bridges or destroying any paths. I sometimes like when villagers place in weird places because it lets me rebuild my town a bit. If everything was where I wanted it first time then I'd have nothing to do in the game. Just a thought haha

It doesn't look that bad to me, and besides, this sort of thing forces you to be creative, which isn't always bad. Maybe you'll like the new layout better than your planned one- who knows!

trust me. you got lucky. My ultimate filbert literally plopped down 2 or 3 holes away from the town hall door. No room or a path to even go between. i cycled him out asap
