I Got Another New Leaf Copy!!

This probably doesn't seem like huge news if you weren't aware that my copy had been stolen. I did what a few forumers (I can't remember names, sorry!) suggested and got in contact with the mother of the girl who had taken it from me.

She told me, after I explained the situation, that she did believe me. However, she also said her and her daughter had been getting into a lot of fights and arguments lately, and taking the game from her would probably just make that worse.

However, she did offer to buy me another copy of the game, after we discussed it for a while. She said that she was sorry she wasn't just giving me back mine, but I can understand her not wanting her already unstable relationship with her daughter to get worse.

A few days later and I was near certain that she wasn't going to hold true to her word, but today she actually came over and dropped it off, apologizing profusely for both what her daughter did and that she couldn't actually punish her for it.

My friend code is the same, since it's not a game-exclusive code, and any and all help with getting Bells or flowers or even tools or fruit to help start rebuilding my town would be wonderful.

Thank you to all of you! Considering how I thought everything would go, starting with a fresh town is better than not having one at all. That is a couple months worth of work, and I won't have the few dreamies I'd managed to get, but I'm excited to have a new start in a new town.

I have all the fruit and could also bring over some hybrid roses (plus maybe some other flower hybrids depending on whats lying around my town) in addition to some normal flowers

Wow, that really terrible of the daughter and really nice of the mom to at least get you a substitute. Lately I've been getting paranoid of taking my 3DS around places because I don't want to lose my game card and all of my town's progress.

I have a lot of furniture I could give you sometime to help build back your collection.

so glad that you received a new copy, though it's really really sad that that daughter is in control of her mother.

at any rate, if you need fruits you can PM me. i have most of them, as well as loads of normal flowers that i dun want if you'd care for them.
