I really do. I've been stuck on this approval rating thing for HOURS. it's never been this hard for me, I was able to get a 100% approval rating so quick in my last towns so why is it so hard? Isabelle tells me to water flowers: I've watered every single flower in town. I even picked some up and replanted them and rewatered it. It brings me up by one percent. Isabelle tells me to pick weeds. there was ONE weed, that I picked up before she told me to pick them up which is my greatest mistake. She says mingle with the villagers! I've talked to them so many times... only one villager has asked me to do something and the rest of them keep talking about the new villager moving in!! She says donate stuff to the museum. I HAVE!!!!

I've been on this for like 5 hours (with breaks inbetween of course) and I'm stuck. Like I don't get why this is so hard!!! And April Fools is tomorrow so doesn't that mean I won't be able to check my approval rating because I can't go to the town hall?? I just hope it doesn't delay me unlocking the island. I know it's a game but omg... I've gotten so frustrated I wanted to throw my DS at the wall. Any tips????

•Sell stuff to Reese, even trash. Selling trash brings up your rating more then getting rid of it, with a trash can.

Also I'm pretty sure you can only earn like 20 somethin points a day. I seemed to max out at 20 somethin when I was making my town, no matter how much donating, talking or selling I did.

What is the current dialogue Isabelle gives you? Is it still about the flowers? My problem which prevented me from achieving perfect town status was "not enough development." I didn't know it was because there weren't enough trees---I thought it was a PWP issue so I added benches and the instrument shelter lol. But that was years ago so I'm fuzzy on the details (been playing the same town since 2013, no resets).

All I can say from here is sleep on it. Like literal sleep. I remember one day I had like 80 somethin percent, then when I went back to playing the next day irl, I had a full 100% and I did like nothing that day in game. I guess just continue playing, interacting, and acting like you're in the economy. Buy stuff from shops, sell that stuff, sell seashells, fish you get, fossils, make a pro design for your animals to wear around town, send letters ect...

thank you! I just checked and I only moved up by 2% :/ but there's more weeds and stuff now so hopefully I'll be able to get that 100%. And the town hall isn't closed!!

Posting letters to villagers can be good. And also when you fish for trash but only get fish still sell them at the retail as im pretty sure you can get points for that. Also try making a town tune. I managed to get my approval rating in one day but I guess thats due to luck
