I finally got a second game!

So I finally got a second game which I've wanted to do for years and I'm so excited! I made sure to have a better layout this time because the layout on my main game isn't very good and is pretty small, this town is so much bigger lol, I have a lot of reasons to get a second game and I'm so happy right now lol, anyone else have a second game and wanna talk about it lol?

Congrats. I have a lot of towns.
My 2nd town was a Guest town that I opened for my online friends and hosted events. Started about 2 months after ACNL came out. It's a town that I have in a different season and keep it on the same day if I have premium perfect fruit or high turnip prices at retail. For the high turnips I would keep it for a few days so all my friends to sell their turnips.

Some of my other towns were spare towns for awhile. Those grew perfect fruit and weeds for my main towns players to pick.
With the update I made them into casual towns. Used the amiibo cards and made an All Rabbit town and a half duck/bird town.

I recently got a second copy as well. I've been using the Villager Trading Post for villagers in my main town, but in this town I'm trying to do things 100% on my own (see: the board I made a few days ago asking about campsite villagers) I like the layout in my second town more than in my first town, and I have a more definitive plan for PWPs and where they will go.

In a way, my planned second town has allowed me to loosen up a little with my first town. It's so easy for the game to get out of hand with villagers putting themselves in stupid places or picking areas that are bad in the long run for PWPs, especially if you don't know what you're doing like so many people don't when they first start. Having a game that's planned doesn't make me feel the need to try and plan around all the stuff "wrong" with my first town, which makes playing it more enjoyable.

Congrats on your second town!

I bought a second 3DS and copy of the game a couple of months ago. Right now, I'm just using the second town as a spare town to help my main town's mayor complete all of her badges. I've been streetpassing and time traveling for weeds. It's also been great for getting all of the weeding day furniture that I want from Leif! But once I finally get the gold weeding badge, I'm going to reset the spare town and create a themed town. I'm really excited about starting it because I've had some ideas for a long time now and I even have a few villagers in my main town that I intend to transfer to the new town once it's ready.

I'm way too happy about how big my second town is lol, my first town is just so dang small so it's really satisfying to have a bigger town to work with lol

I've got a 2nd copy but unfortunately my bf decided he wanted to use it to make his own town Although I'm tempted to buy another copy so that I have an actual 2nd copy, I haven't even finished my main town yet! I kinda want to finish it soon just so I can have the excitement of starting a new town with a different theme to my main town

Lucky, I really want a second town cause I get bored of my town often(I reset a lot b/c of this), I actually used to have a second copy of New Leaf b/c the copy my mom ordered for me for Christmas never came so Best Buy sent a new copy but then the original copy came like a week later, we had it for like half the year cause my mom hates going out. I wanted to open it for so long but she never let me =^( we ended up giving it back tho. I'm still kinda salty about it cause it was a free game yaknow, I plan on getting a second copy off Ebay or some other secondhand site for cheap tho. I hope you have fun with your new town tho!~

@bikh23 yeah I wanted a second town for a long time and kept hoping to find a cheap second hand copy but tbh I a, impatient so when I had a chance to get it at GameStop I just went for it lol, I'm having a lot of fun with it already, there's so much I can do with this town that I can't with my main town and I'm way too attached to restart my town lol

GameStop has been one of the best stores to find games for me, I've managed to find 2 new copies of ACNL (I don't trust used versions of this game) plus a new Rune Factory 4, which was an old game by the time I wanted to buy it. I was extremely lucky they had it that day I went.

It was awesome when I got my second town Moriyo, which ended up being my new main town and town I'm most proud of to this day. Having multiple copies is fun and very useful when you have multiple systems.

New leaf is so amazing. I have two copies (one digital, one physical)... Both towns are pretty much done (other than finishing my secondary character houses)... Im getting another physical copy from the exchange TOMORROW. Im a psycho. Have fun with your new town!!!

Just curious why you don't trust used versions? Is it because they may be hacked?
