I feel so lucky!!!

Today I got to experience the rare orange sunset in game and I absolutely freaked out, took too many screenshots and went and immediately created a dream address so I could save it. (Though I'll probably have to update eventually xD)

IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. The sky was the deepest orange I'd ever seen, even the water looked so cool, it was like a combination of blue, green, and grey. Also, I discovered if you go indoors during this time, even your rooms that have the side windows look more orange overall, which is a great detail!

I'd never seen the sunset in game before, only seen screenshots, and I have yet to see the rare purple sunrise.... Guess I gotta force myself to wake early someday xDD

Sorry for the post ;; but I just felt so happy when I opened my game. Man, I wish I could see a sunset like this in real life lolol

Just by the way you described it - I can't wait to get to experience this orange sunset. Honestly I didn't know such a thing existed let alone how detailed it was with even going inside and still seeing it.

I've actually seen some amazing sunsets in real life - but now I need to see this one

Orange sunsets are a real treat! When I come across it in my play it’s a guaranteed dream update. My favourite is the purple sky though which is an early morning thing I think.

Aren't they amazing? It's so wonderful when that happens. Since I have so many towns and play quite often, I am pretty regularly gifted the orange sunset and lavender sunrise and they never go unappreciated

I feel you. It's so amazing to experience a rare sunset. It makes me think that Animal Crossing for the Switch would be even more beautiful than the ones we have now.

Wow! Maybe try early evening during the summer/fall? I remember reading somewhere they start sometime in late summer and go into fall? I could be wrong tho I don't remember the source lol

I think i’ve seen it before when I first started playing new leaf but I don’t think I had any idea that it was rare. It sure is pretty though, and it looks really nice in towns that have a beach/harbor theme.
