i feel like removing all of my PWP/trees/bushes and just starting over.

i'm so bored with my main town and completely out of ideas as to what to do with it.
i feel like i have 0 room in it anymore, all the flowers are pink (i last played religiously in spring time, when the flowers actually fit) and not even the paths fit (paths are brick & green with pink borders and stuff)
it's just really offputting and nothing really matches the changing colors. :|
on top of that the landscaping just looks..idk, i just hate it because i feel its really cluttered but i may regret getting rid of everything cause redoing everything will take so damn long x_x my DA is outdated too because that was when i was like..MOST proud of my town aha. idk would anyone wanna visit and give me advice or something? or would just wiping everything (cept unmovable pwp ofc) be a good idea?

It's tough when you have a theme to your town that only looks good in one season.

Pink would look lovely in the winter, just a few more weeks and there will be snow.

I am not one of these people, but I have seen people play only for those weeks in the year that match their outdoor theme.

I like to play every day; I know your struggle. Your town sounds lovely before you grab an axe I'm sure a few of us would love to see your town - even if this isn't your current situation I imagine your town looks lovely.

If theres still happieness, change your path, add some variation to your flowers, and move the paths too.

It sounds like your town needs a makeover. I say, go ahead and tear it all down and start fresh. I always recommend doing this over restarting. This will give you something to do and keep you interested in the game longer. Have fun redecorating, and let me know if you need bushes or cedars. I have a bunch in my new town in front of my station. You are welcome to take as much as you like.

nah i could never reset my main town. i love it too much. i don't mind its flaws i have all of my dreamies, fully grown tree, basically all the things i want. the map is pretty meh but i always find a way to work with it..thats more fun than having a perfect map imo haha!

would you like to visit? i have a golden axe as well so no need for crazed chopping atm hahaha but i just desperately need advice xD you can just reply on the thread with that though as typing in game is unnecessarily difficult lol~

I do this thing every few months! c:
Bring a new ideas to your town, it's quite fun and you will feel refreshed! (at least this is how I felt). I kept demolishing and setting new PwP's, moving the trees, diffrent flower colours...

The only problem might be a money, some PwP's are quite expensive :x

Redoing your town isn't a bad idea. It'll give your momd a fresh burst of ideas! If you are bored, then definitely give your town a makeover! <3 It'll also give you something to do. X3

I think you should remove everything from an area you dislike and do it all over again, but maybe not start with the whole town. :> If you think it is worth it I think you should start over with the landscape, but I think it's better to try it out a little ;;

yeah, thats what i'm doing right now. ;u; i changed all of my paths, that seemed to help a bit aha. removed like 3 pwps in an area and chopped a bunch of trees and theres sooo much space..already thinking of what i can do with the area too ^^

I think it's a good idea as long as you can afford to buy all those things again.

I recently just cut down all of my trees and re-arranged them because I was unhappy with them and now they look great!

I think that maybe you should go area but area. I think taking on the whole town can be really intimidating and make you feel really doubtful. Also, if you do it in areas and have only done a small space and then you realize you're actually fine with your current theme, you only have to redo that small section over again. Anyways, yeah, say between two landmarks, that's the area you'll work on. Play around for weeks if you have to, try all kinds of combinations and themes and idea and then when you find one you like, go to the spot adjacent to it and fit them together, like a big puzzle! Everything will fall into place eventually good luck!

I just destroyed all my trees and PWP and redoing the landscaping in my town. It wasn't much it was just one style of pathing but now I'm gonna actually design it. My friend gave me a base idea but I'm still so lost at what to do x_x things just aren't looking the way I want it to.

When I get really bored with my layout or if I feel cluttered (which I do often) I wipe out everything.
Right now I have some PWPs, A LOT of trees, some flowers, and no patterns. I like it simple. It doesn't stress me out and if a villager moves in I don't have to worry about where they put their house because they can't mess up your layout if you don't have one. lol

But yeah, if I were you I would take away your less favored PWPs and see how you feel. Take it slow. Maybe move your flowers to the beach temporarily and see if that helps.
