I love this! the ostriches are great and definitely one of the more underrated species, good on you for living your truth and for your adorable island friends <3

That's so awesome, congrats!! The ostriches are one of the coolest and most underrated species in the whole game, I only see Phoebe get much love and even then she seems less appreciated and I once ran into a twitter thread calling her ugly and weird 
She's not though, she's one of my favorite villagers! It's only too bad there's not a cranky ostrich so you can't get all the reactions (unless you already got all the cranky reactions before getting 10 ostriches haha).

I read that yesterday! Unfortunately the only negative aspect is the lack of a cranky ostrich villagers but this reply gave me hope... I hope it's true.

Honestly an ostrich island is such a great idea because they all have such unique and awesome designs! Also I highly respect you for your choice, as someone who doesn't want Raymond either I totally get your thought process, but also having all those awesome villagers instead would have totally been worth it as well to me! I hope you have lots of fun with your new villagers!!
oh my god. usually I'm not a huge fan of one species islands/towns, but I love the idea of an all-ostrich island. really makes me wish we were allowed more than one island on one switch, because I'd totally want to do the same if I could have a second island

Yeah... I could have had both but I would have lost Sandy of my friend... for ever. She was a native villager, he doesn't own her amiibo card.
Anyways, i have no "economic" problem, I've collected something like 200-300 NMT and now i don't know how what to do with them. I'm good. xd
If I found a spare Raymond, I'd use that 1.2k~2k NMT to buy whoever or even, buy an amiibo card of my favorite villager because he costs 30~50$ in the irl markets LOL.
