I'm so sorry this happened to you. Villagers moving into a horrible spot or in a spot where you want to place something is the worst. I've always make sure to write down days when a possible move in happens. This way I don't forget and can start plot resetting on that day.

I just got really caught up doing something else and thought I could've prevented her from moving in right away. I'm contemplating the 16 villager cycle but it's really annoying sometimes when you get the occasional stubborn villager that doesn't move out for anything UNLESS you become good friends with them. I'm just not mentally prepared.

I feel ya--currently, Alli is parked RIGHT IN FRONT of my house. I love her dearly, (and I feel a bit attached due to her being one of my first ever villagers back in Wild World)
but I really wish she could've picked somewhere else (so much room to choose from, but noooo). On the other hand, at the very least, I don't have a precise town setup yet, so I'm not too worried. I'm trying to keep her around long enough to get her picture. I really wish we could move the lots they pick. (we're the mayors, is it really that unreasonable? XD )

Wouldn't that be nice? At least with past games, you had a general idea of where they could potentially move in. Those sign posts with the tips? But now it's anyone's dibs and I hate that.
