I checked a list and all my villagers are the lowest tier.

And you know what? I don't care! I love my villagers. I get the dreamie idea (I'd love to have Lolly b/c I had her in City Folk and adored her), but my villagers are so cute and fun. I've had some in the past that I don't like, and moved out as quickly as I could, so I definitely have preferences. I just think there's a long list of villagers that, while not "popular", are a great addition to a town.

Alice is my absolute favorite.

I have some 'unpopular' villagers in my town as well (Deli, Miranda, Annalisa, Graham, Cherry). Some adopted, some voided that I started loving once I befriended them, some even starter villagers. I really like them and they are my dreamies. Most lower tier villagers deserve way more love and credit than they have now.

I'll admit i do like the higher tiers quite a bit (Not because they are "Popular" but because I like em) but I believe Melba the koala is a tier 5 or at least 4, and she's adorable and so sweet.

I don't really care about the popularity list. I just try to get the ones I think look cool. Though if I happen to get a popular villager in my campsite, I will ask them to move in to help other people find dreamies. I just think asking 10-15+ mil bells is crazy for them.

I've personally never caught up with the tiers - when it comes to picking my villagers, I don't really care how popular they are.

The highest my dreamies ever were tier-wise was three but I honestly don't care about what tier they are. I love all of my villagers. <3

I only have one popular villager and that's Maple. And I didn't even get her to move in! I won her in a giveaway!

I had Punchy for awhile. I got him from the campsite. I just didn't like him, though, so I moved him out as soon as I could.

Yeah, it's best not to get too fixated on popularity lists. I only discovered the popularity list a few weeks ago. I never realised that Stitches, who I have had since the first week I started playing, was so highly popular. Yesterday I finally got Rosie, another very popular villager, and had wanted her for ages but only because she was in my GameCube version (she pretty much 'is' AC for me).

Almost all my other villagers, though, are either near the middle to bottom tiers, but I absolutely love them. I have Chevre, Grizzly, Mallary and Rory who I absolutely love. Couldn't ever get rid of them!

Except I think Broffina is gonna have to go soon, as her house is the only one that wouldn't screw up my paths by leaving and I need a normal for PWPs. Le sigh.

I bought a second copy of the game for weeding purposes and Alice is one of my original villagers there. Score!

Why does it matter if you have Tier 1 or Tier 5 villagers in town? It doesn't make a difference.

I was shocked when I read the list. I love (almost!) all my villagers, and I have several from previous games that I just had to have again. Clearly people are crazy

Yeah, I realized that my villagers are all actually pretty high tier, but I still don't really care. I give them away when they're getting ready to move out and they're all gotten by random move-ins. It's funny how that works, but my favorites are usually the ones that are lower tier, tbqh.

Even if you wanted to sell them or something, there are a lot of people that have dreamies that are in a lower tier. I believe Scoot's not in a very high tier but he's pretty popular for what I've seen.

There's almost always someone willing to buy or trade a less popular villager. It's all personal and not set in stone

I feel the same!! I love Freckles and Pate and most people hate them. I enjoy them and their little feets when they sit on their chairs/couches are SO cute! I also like Marshal. But yeah. I don't care because I think they are cool and that's all that matters!
