I caught a scallop..

I caught a scallop but Pascal didn't show up? I thought he'd show up Maybe I messed it up since the first time I caught a scallop, my bf was visiting.. so I figured Pascal wouldn't come while a visitor is around. Then I closed my gates and caught another one, but he still didn't show up. Was it because it wasn't the *first* scallop I caught for the day? Or maybe they changed things. Did anyone meet Pascal yet from catching scallop?

I think he can only show up once a day actually. Not every time you catch a scallop

I've caught 2 scallops so far - the first Pascal appeared and the second he did not... So I'm guessing it's the first scallop of the day?

Damn.. I guess it messed me up that my first scallop was caught when the gate was open T_T

I've caught ten scallops, he only appeared on the first one I caught. You definitely can only give him one per day.

Pascal only shows up on the very first scallop you catch. He only shows up once a day.

I haven't tried it yet but I saved some scallops. I want to know if he could buy the other scallops from me after the first catch tomorrow.

It seems to be random whether or not he shows up for any given scallop, and even when he does pop up, he seems to only come once a day. There were a number of people in other threads who also said he didn't show up for their first scallop, so I wouldn't worry about it!

It is frustrating, though. It would be nice if he always came for the first scallop of the day, so you wouldn't have to potentially keep catching them over and over.

I've caught about 40, and he got my first one.

He can show up a second time as long as you didn't give a scallop to him the first time! (I saved my first for the museum, so that's how I know.)

This isn’t true, my sister had to catch around 10-15 before she finally got pascal to show up. For me I had him on the first scallop. I think it just differs.
