I've never really had "dreamies" but I've reached the point where I have 10 great villagers that I love (one of each personality type plus an extra lazy & smug - my favs!) They are all in good spots and I'm happy with all of them so I can't bear to let any of them move! I used to like having new villagers come and go and get to know them, etc. but now I just want to keep the status quo in my town. Does anyone else feel this way?

Same thing. It's really weird for me, since it was kind of a compulsion for me to swap villagers the moment I feel a bit dissatisfied with any one of them. And now it's just... the complete opposite of my usual behavior!

But I think it's really great, because now I can focus on town design and landscaping. And earning their pictures as well. I've never felt happier with my roster than I do now, and I really do hope that the situation stays that way for many, many days to come.

Agreed.

Though, I lost interest in the random cycling of villagers in New Leaf since we lost our nice little set signs that showed you where they were going to land, and the death of grass due to a house being built on it. It took me leaving to play other games (curse you pokemon!) to even have a slight change in my roster. Hahaha.

I do have dreamies, but I keep finding cute villagers in the tents and bringing them in and so it's a problem, because then I can't fit my dreamies and so on, but I can't decide which villager to get rid of. Oh the decisions ;-;

ugh i have this feeling,, , i want to get rid of gloria but shes always so nice to me but,,, i want to make room for dreamies!!

I've just recently started letting a few go, but with a heavy heart. They were all in fairly good locations. Now I'd like to try some new faces but dread the plot location issues.

I have this same problem! I want to let Lucy go but every time she pings me it's to do something nice! She randomly gave me something just because we are best friends and now I'll feel bad letting her go!

I love all my villagers but it gets a bit boring if you have the same 10 for weeks and weeks... I will keep Julian, Colton and Mitzi but the others are free to leave after I got their picture.
I gave Filbert to a nice person on here just yesterday and adopted Poncho in his place. It was hard to let Filbert go but I'm quite happy about my decision now.

I love all of the villagers, so I keep them and love them until I get their pictures, then I let them go. I like having the new faces and the house plots give me an excuse to rearrange some of my paths so they don't get boring. But then, that is just me :D

I use to feel this way, but have been letting them go now. Now that theres a rotation of villagers, i like it. Makes me feel like town is not so stagnant now.

Well Lucy pinged me this morning to tell me she is leaving and I've let her go. It's a good thing really I've had her for months so its time to say goodbye!

Its the same with me :/ i always prevent them from moving eventhough i want new villagers.. i even have all their pictures and still dont let them
im planning on maybe getting a 2nd copy where i dont care so much hm
