I really want to get a new town but I just can't. My town is probably worth 1,000,000,000 bells from all the town works projects and work I put into it. I really want a town where I can just cycle villagers and help my town I have now. Ever since I started cycling villagers for people my town has been going way downhill. Dirt plots everywhere, my favorite villagers moving out, trees getting destroyed, etc. I want to give people the villagers they want but I'm just starting to feel I can't. I want a town to cycle but still have my clean, pretty town that I can have my own favorites and host trades and have friends over. I have heard of multiple ways to have more than one town but they all cost real money. What should I do?

Just to make this clear the main thing I wanna know is how do you get a villager to plot in a certain place because that is my main problem.

If cycling is making your experience negative, then you should stop for now and focus on your enjoyment of the game! That's more important :) It's nice that you want to give people villagers but it shouldn't be at the cost of your own enjoyment! Work on your town ^_^

I enjoy doing it is the problem. It allows me to meet all the villagers I may have thought were mean or ugly. It also allows me to meet new people that sometimes become acnl friends. That's why I'm so unsure of what to do.

Buy another game just for cycling. A lot of people do it, best way to get what you want. A pretty town and a cycle town.

Then I suppose you can still cycle but do it less so your town doesn't suffer as much :) Make developing your town the priority, with cycling on the side. If you want, you can get another copy, but only do it if you believe spending another 30 bucks on the game is worth it to you ^_^

Deal with it, or get another copy. Then you can enjoy playing with a main town, and then have a cycling town that you won't be worried that'll get ugly. If you don't have enough money or don't want to get another copy of the game, just because you think cycling might get boring after a while, or you think you won't be cycling forever, just think about it for a while, and just deal with it, just do what you enjoy most, either making money with cycling, or peacefully playing the normal game.

Actually the game is roughly 20dollars here.. dont know where else ^^ And I agree if you feel the need to cycle buy another game ^^

The thing is I can't afford another game and my parents wouldn't want me to buy the same game twice.

I hear you. I contemplate getting another game or 3ds all the time but don't because I shouldn't spend the money haha

There's always other ways to meet and help people in game. :) Collect and run catalog events. Host turnip selling and perfect fruit. Continue to help people with Katie. Collect art and fossils and do a giveaway for those needing them in their museums. Do a DLC event.
Get creative.

However, I agree that you shouldn't cycle if it's negatively affecting your gameplay. It's lovely to help others but enjoying your town should come first. :)

Aww, I think taking a break from cycling for a little while might help. Burnout is never fun.

You might feel differently about how much you want to keep doing it or find other ways you enjoy meeting people in the interim.

I just want to know. Why should I reset my town? I see 2 people have voted that but I'm not sure why I should do that.
