I can't decide on a new name for my town after restarting

I like Gotham too, but purely because I am a fan of the TV show itself and a fan of batman. but the town itself would have no other link to Gotham other than the name of it, I don't bother with theming my town as I don't see the point, I'm just old school I guess

I'm starting to narrow down the list in my notebook, I plan on getting it down to 10 and then 5 and then 3 until I am left with just 2.

I voted for Duskgrove before I realized the name was too long. :\ I really like the way that sounds too. Hm..

Mistroot sounds very whimsical.
But.. I think I like it because my town's name is Mistvale.
But quite frankly, I love the name Mistvale. xD It took me forever to think of a name, but it really just came out at me randomly. It was misty and foggy outside... and I happened to open up the game Dragonvale for the first time in forever. Bam. Mistvale.

Other than that, I really like Hillcove and Moonpass.
Hillcove reminds me of a very green area... Like.. You know the movie series, Lord of the Rings? Where Bilbo Baggins lives? Haha, I imagine Hillcove kinda like where he lives.

And Moonpass. It makes me think of a place where the moon glows purple and there are your occasional fireflies here and there. For some reason, it reminds me of dragonfruit too. No idea why. lol

this ^_^ thank you for sharing your reason as to which ones you like the sound of, I have now narrowed it down to just 11 names and these are:

SeaHaven
MoonPass
MistRoot
Jakku (planet in star wars the force awakens)
Leafloch (Leaf becuase New Leaf and Loch becuase I love the scottish haha)
Moonhill
Betamoor
Bajor
Talarius
Betazed
Hillcove
Gotham and finally
Brecourt

so that is now down to 13, at the moment I'm thinking of going with Moonpass, or Moonhill or Mistroot or Talarius.

That's a lot of choices, man. I don't like any of them, because they don't really mean anything to me, you know.
Neutral names like Seahaven, Moonhill, Mistroot, ... are always good, but I think you should choose on of them based on what you like. In my opinion it should at least include your favorite flower, color, season, whatever.

But I choose Moonhill, because I do love that concept.
