I can't build the new bridge at the same spot

I just got a new request of building fairytale bridge as PWP. So, I demolished one of the existing bridges, hoping to replace it with the new fairytale bridge. Sadly, I can't build it at the same spot as there's a villager's house nearby, Isabelle said. OMG I'm so sad. I feel too lazy to re-landscape my town nor do I want to get rid the villager, Marina.
ISABELLE WHY WHY WHY :mad::mad::(:(

because bridge spacing coding is great

it requires more open space to build it than build around it, so you can have stuff placed in the space(s) needed to be empty for bridge building after its built

I know how you feel. I demolished a bridge near Chief's house because I wanted to move it closer to my mayors house which is located on a narrow strip of land on the other side of the river, far from everything. Well, I tried to place it closer to my house but it turned out that there was always a villager's house in the way. And I couldn't couldn't even put the bridge to the same place where it was before because of Chief's house being too close. So, I ended up having to place it even further away from my house. Now I hate it and it's really inconvinient that there can only be two bridges and they are both far away.

Oh well... I really hope you can make things work again in your town. :( Things like this are really annoying. But if you try to find the bridge a new place and do some re-landscaping, maybe it will turn out well in the end.

I love where my bridges are, but people have complained because they are the standard cobblestone, and one is a suspension. Well, I'd rather just live with them than risk not having them where I want them. :o One of them, I know I could put back, but it's the other two I would want to change.

I recently did this with a bridge next to Pekoe's house, I didn't realize at the time demolishing it would cause me so much trouble. But I looked it up and found that you need a 4x4 space on each side of the bridge before you'd be able to build a new one in the exact same spot.

It's frustrating, so I completely understand. I wanted a town with the brick bridge as the main style since it matches with my path. However, I can't do that now and so I opted for 3 different types of bridges because Ken's house is too close to the original cobblestone one and that would be even worst to work around.

Everything looks pretty nice though and now the area is more accessible so that's a plus :) but it did take a lot of effort to redo everything. Ugh! Spacing for bridges suck so badly. I don't even understand why they made it that way...

Eep! I have badly mismatched bridges that don't go with the landscaping at all because I'm trying to avoid this! :< I'm sorry it happened, I too would rage.

Gosh that sounds so horrible! I would be so annoyed. I hope when I put more bridges down that doesn't happen to me. :(
