I Can't Be Mean to Villagers... Anyone Else?

Is there anyone else who physically can't be mean to villagers? even if they don't like them, find them aesthetically unpleasing? i see so many posts of people who have beat their villagers, push them into pitfalls etc, and as much as i dislike villagers, i just can't do it! in my old town i disliked Moose, yet i still spoke to him and did all his errands etc, and was never mean to him, i just spoke to him less than the others..
I was mean in previous games such as the GC, but thats because i feel like the personalities have been so watered down, that they're not as mean as they used to, and so i don't really strongly dislike them

so anyone else? i feel guilty if i hit them..

i can never actually hurt my villagers :X i always feel so bad for them!! and they usually look really sad after. i just dont have it in me to do anything to them

I can't either. Yeah, sure the vilagers you see on your screen are just coded objects attached to a graphical representation, but... I don't see the point of being hateful to them. I'll let them move when they finally ask, and breath a sigh of relief but... can't hit them to death with a bug net and send them nasty letters. Especially, when they're programmed to be so nice to you.

Even when I hit villagers I hate, I feel super guilty. Moreso if they get sad rather than angry

I barely even have a shred of dislike towards my villagers. I can't imagine being even vaguely mean towards them. The hate I see for some villagers for just the silliest reasons like not being cute makes me really confused. o_o I also don't get it because being mean to the villagers really has no effect on whether or not they move.

I mean, I'm not going to buy a banana for 1,000 Bells, but it's simple to just say no and move about your happy life. The absolute worst thing that a villager has done to me is move in completely randomly and unexpectedly as my 10th one (by me visiting someone else's town, and I hadn't even talked to this villager!), place his house right where I was planning on building a fountain, and preventing me twice from getting a (popular, and thus more difficult to find) villager I've been searching for for some time. Which made me pretty angry. And, I mean, the other day, I just hunted down a tarantula because he asked for one. Haha. I'm not even trying to get their pictures in any sort of rush.

It's funny because I get annoyed easily in real life, but I'm really calm towards everything that happens in-game.

I can't be mean to them either...I do say no on occasion because there is no way I will give up a rare item I cannot order from my catalog so they can give me a ridiculous item in return! Learned my lesson the hard way...more than once! Now I do say no! But I cannot be mean to them, even if they aren't cute.

I'm never mean to my villagers! After all, they welcomed me into my town of Mokuzai, and the ones that moved in mainly moved in because they heard that Mokuzai was a nice town. I can't imagine being mean to a villager, even if it's a really ugly or mean one!

I can be mean, but I feel guilty afterwards. I only do it to ones that deserve it. Also I started to be mean to everyone on a new character to see if he could be given a special rumor title (similar to freshman mayor or pro listener) but then I just had to stop cause I felt bad hitting certain ones. Still don't feel bad about hitting grumpy or tomboy neighbors though.

i'm somewhat of a tyrant.
mainly because i dont care for all of my villagers except 2.
phoebe gets the brunt of my wrath because oh has she managed to get on my bad side. plus her house is in the spot i want my second character to be, but she refuses to move.
ive also been known to hit my villagers with my net when they do something that gets on my nerves

The responses in this thread so far make me feel like a meanie, haha.

I used to bully Hazel and Chops a lot when they first moved in, since I was under the impression that that would make them leave more quickly. I didn't feel bad at all because I really didn't like their house placement. I'm mostly just ignoring them now.
