I've been doing the whole fast forward day by day, and talking to villagers until one says something about another moving out or until one pings. The problem is it's NEVER THE VILLAGER I WANT TO LEAVE. I've had every other villager tell me they are moving EXCEPT Big Top, and he's not my newest villager which would be the obvious reason why he's not leaving. My question is, is there anything I can do that would help make the likelihood of him pinging higher?? Should I talk to him more? Less? I seriously need him to go.

Have you experienced a stubborn villager like this? Who was it/did you finally get them to leave?? And if you're experiencing this right now, I feel your pain.

I just completely ignore the villager that I want to leave. That works the best from my experience.

I'm trying to do that right now with pierce :/ THEN i have to do it with simon (hes my unfortunate newest)
I've been attempting for 2 weeks with time travel and he NEVER pings me to move out. so aggravating

Yes, it took Kyle 4 months to move out from my town. -.- No time travelling.

Ughh.... I've already time traveled about 2 months into the future on two different occasions... I guess I just need to keep going :/

I've heard of that working, I might have to try doing that.

I know, it's like the game knows which villagers you want out and then never makes them ping!! And I swear all my favorite villagers ping more than anybody. It's so annoying

Just keep going and ignoring the villager. They'll leave at some point!

Honestly..I think you should just clear your mind of that villager and just pretend he's completely gone. Don't stress over him, just pretend he's gone. If you see him, ignore him. That's just what I do..it's not like that villager will be following you around all day. For example, I had Rodney and I hated having him. But due to lazyness, I just didn't want to do any methods to get him to move out so I just ignored him for like four weeks. I had other villagers move in during the meantime and it wasn't an issue at all to just ignore. They'll leave eventually.. :/

Yeah, I'm kind of at that point. Unfortunately I have 10 villagers and the reason I want him gone is so I can get a snooty villager who can request pwps, since I don't have one in my town. Ughhh I guess I'll just have to keep playing the waiting game. I wish there was a way to get him out faster!!

It took 35 villager pings to get Maple to move... and it took another 25 for Stitches to move. I talked to them all the time in hopes they would ping me...nope. Unfortunately you just have to be patient and not throw your game out in frustration. Good luck!

Ignoring a villager doesn't help, it always random. I mean you can still do that if you want but it won't help. Make sure you've introduced yourself to them too. Ya gotta be patient though. Good luck.

Try this method
1) Load onto a day where a villager (other than the one you want to leave) wants to tell you that they are thinking of moving
2) Deny that request, save and quit (MAKE SURE IT'S ON THE SAME DAY! VERY IMPORTANT)
3) TT 6 days ahead
4) TT 6 days back in one go
5) Run around town, see who pings you to leave
6)
> If it's the wrong villager, deny them, and rinse and repeat
> If it's the right villager, tell them that they have your okay signal

I've done this method lots of times and it definitely works.
Just keep in mind that if there are any upcoming events (i.e: Fishing/Bug Competition), it may disrupt the cycle.

Freckles plagued my town for 8 months. I tried befriending her for a long time, then eventually got so fed up with her that I just ignored her for a while and eventually I logged on one day and she was in boxes. I TT'd her out and danced on her house grave. She sent me her picture too XD

Julian took me about 50 years of cycling - although that's only about 25 villagers who moved out before him, it's still pretty crazy! He was very determined to stick with me, while I just wanted him to go home!

OHHHH MY GOD. Big Top FINALLY pinged to move out and when I said okay have a nice life, he's like no I have to stay so we can become better friends! UGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When that happens, simply quit without saving, then immediately TT to the day that he said he'll be moving, and he should be in boxes. Good luck!
