I am torn (Marina vs Poppy)

So I finally filled up my island slots with dreamies and came down to the last one
And I can't decide if I want to keep Marina or replace her with Poppy

I was wondering which one of them you guys like more ;;

I like Marina more personally, but Poppy is rarer in the sense that Marina is so popular and I am increasingly wanting to have more of the less popular villagers.

Poppy is one of my dreamies, so she'd be my pick. Though to be unhelpful, I had Marina move to my island and I love her entire design and personality!

This is exactly what happened to me xD
I initially had planned to have Poppy on my island but randomly found Marina while hunting for dreamies and I thought "she's kinda cute, I'll take her in for now"
And i got attached to her ;;

I have a similar dilemma, which is why I wish they'd allow for a few extra villagers.

It seems to me like you like Poppy more so I'd go with that.
However; if you have Poppy's card, you can always wait a while to bring her in and then decide.
If you think about it - even if you give Marina up, chances are she'll go to someone who really loves and wants her.

I've been holding off inviting all my dreamies (besides Zucker whom I got from a trade and Sherb whom I've acquired from an Island trip).

Marina used to be rare because there are only three octopi in the game. In NH, though, almost EVERY town tour and play through has one octopi. I have Zucker. And I saw Marina more than three times on the islands I just didn’t get her cause I wanted variety (I already have 3 wolves) in species. It’s weird. Poppy is rarer this time around.

if you're going for a theme on your island, try and base it off which one fits in more with the vibe you're aiming towards and how their house will fit in with the other houses!

Ugh they’re both so cute! I’ve had Poppy in the past and I have Marina now. Poppy didn’t make my final cut for dreamies this time around because I really wanted Sylvana and Marshal and I didn’t want too many villagers of the same species. I love Marina, but I hate the inside of her house - so much pink. I’m still on the fence about whether she’ll stay permanently. I have a problem with narrowing down the normal villagers... IDK if these thoughts influence your decision, but maybe it helps.

Poppy for sure! I've had her in CF and she is such a little cutie! I have a fondness for the squirrel villagers and not only that but her interior in NH is autumn themed! That's bonus points imo!

If anyone who has Poppy would be so kind to let me come over for a minute or two to take a better look at her and talk to her I think that would help me pick /3\
