It's been a month and a half since Kabuki has unexpectedly moved away, and he still didn't ask to leave my friend's town, since she's holding him for me. Just seeing him in her town makes me jealous.. Seeing him in signatures make me jealous. Heck, seeing him in general just makes me feel, aswdefghyjugk

I've also seen plenty of Kabuki giveaways and I can easily get Kabuki that way, but I want my original one..

Hm. Anyway, so people can discuss stuff, have you ever successfully get back your lost villager back after cycling for them?

Every villager that I want to leave that I see in artworks or see people say, "OMg _____ is so popular I luv her/him!" Makes me want to keep that villager. Ugh. I don't know why. I got back Flora! That sassy Flamingo. I lost her in a TT accident when I first started ACNL.

That happened to me too, but now I just let them go. And by let them go, I mean spamming them with letters and perfect fruit until my friendship with them is high enough for them to move.

I've gotten Lolly and Julian back. I think I'm going to get Ankha back. I thought I could fill the void with Francine but I can't convince myself that they're the same and I miss Ankha. I've probably cycled enough by now and just need to move out Francine

I feel the same way ever since Wolfgang was randomly in boxes :C WHY COULDN'T EUGENE HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO GO! NOT ONE OF MY DREAMIES!! ; ~ ; and this was all cuz i was too impatient to wait for the next day to see what i got for my birthday in the mail :C

Wolfgang was a random move in, and I fell for him. He was so cool and awesome, and fit in really well (and even was dating Whitney!!)
I'm glad I was able to move him to my cycling town for safe keeping, but it's going to be grueling getting enough ppl to move in and out of my original town :C

Same thing happened to me when Rosie left :( i'm waiting until she's out of my game's memory so that I can get her back. it's my ultimate AC quest tbh. She was in my original town and being my favourite villager I was ecstatic... but yeah.
good luck!

I felt the same way after my Jacques moved out... I have him again, but it's not my original Jacques, so he feels kinda... Empty. :(

Don't look at my avatar. Just don't. ;)

cries forever

Did you make sure to cycle 16 villagers first?

Yup, even though I was sure only 9 villagers have moved after he left..

I know that "suddenly in boxes" feel.
also, eugene is eternal

I feel the same way about a lot of villagers, really (I used to try and TT to fix my village late at night when I was sleep deprived - NEVER A GOOD IDEA), but Skye, Marshal, Bones and Agnes take the cake. I worked my butt off trying to get cute, similar villagers to take their place - like Fauna, Pashmina, and Lucky - but it's not quite the same. I think if you accept the villagers the game gives you, the bond is much stronger.

I've considered resetting and giving away all my popular hard-won villagers, but there are valuable items and hybrids I wouldn't be able to get back. Also, by now I've read all possible dialogue 10 times at least. I don't know if I could "fall for" restart villagers the same way if I tried again. It's probably better to wait on a new game or something. Seriously, everything is 100% more endearing and enjoyable if you don't drive yourself crazy thinking of top-tier villagers like they were currency or try to bully the game into giving you more control than it was designed to. It's just kind of hard to let go of perfectionism, you know? The drive to get everything flawless competes with the ability to just relax and let the game unfold.

I accidently lost Roscoe from TT. I would like to try to get him back too. You have to wait a certain amount of villagers before you can get them back? What is this about the game system memory?
