Anyone have any good theme ideas? The town is completely bare, as I chopped down every tree and moved all the flowers for the sole purpose of planning/design. This is literally the best part of starting over, lol.

My first three towns didn't have complex themes. The first was where I was learning the game and playing however I wanted. My second town had mostly blue and white colors, and my last town was super organized with lots of evergreens and plain red roses.

I want to do something different this time. Even if you don't have any ideas for themes, just some general tips on stuff I could do would be fine. :D

This isn't really a theme idea, but you should definitely try plot resetting! It gives a more clean look to a town to have all the villagers in dedicated spots. (:

Does your first town have a theme? it might be cool to make your new town the opposite in a way. Like if your 1st was a natural town, the new one can be modern!
Or a very basic idea could be themed around your favorite color schemes. Like only warm colors, only cool colors...or monocolor!
I always like creepy towns, they're the most fun dream addresses to visit.

I like the theme of classic RPG town or country town. My taste may not be your own tastes, however. You can try searching: best Animal Crossing: New Leaf dream town addresses (non-hacked if you dont hack) for inspiration. Some of the best themes I've seen are city theme, zen theme, eerie town theme and seasonal themes (winter, spring, summer, fall). The hardest part is getting villagers to match and unlocking all the public works projects.

Hmmmmm perhaps your fave movie series? I have made my town a Kill Bill themed town.

- Magical Village/Forest (Sprites, fairies, etc.)
- Fairytale Kingdom
- High-Rise
