hybrids stopped breeding??

Is anyone else having issues with breeding hybrids? I used to be able to breed them regularly (by watering them and arranging them so that they have room to grow new hybrids), but recently, I can't seem to grow any more hybrids at all. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong. ):

Because your villagers got rid of all your hybrids and replaced them with White ones, that they painted to LOOK like hybrids.

Sometimes I just have bad luck with them like one day will spawn 4-5 pink roses and then the next I will just get the random flowers popping up in my town. Have you tried using either fertiliser or jacob's ladders? These help with your luck spawning.

Also remember to only water the selection of flowers you want the hybrid from? There's no point in watering all your flowers, just select the group of flowers you want from that day!

Oh and finally the beautiful ordinance helps a lot, make sure that's turned on!

Ever since winter break which was like...MON Ths ago...I've just been getting nothing at all, despite watering them daily. I haven't tried using much fertilizer or jacob's ladders, so I'll do that now! Thanks for bringing those up to my attention.

(And yes! I only water the ones I want bred and I also have the beautiful ordinance turned on. Thanks so much for all the info. )

sometimes it's just hard for them to breed, I think it's just chance
also the fact that your villagers are prob watering random flowers doesn't help lol (mine do that ugh.... I have beautiful town too)

Also, if it rains that messes up everything. I have never gotten hybrids after a rain storm.

OKAY YEAH it's definitely been raining for awhile. So basically my town's been hit with every anti-breeding possibility ever and all of this explains so much. Thanks for all the help, guys. Hopefully my hybrids will start hybrid-ing again soon. ;_;

I guess the rain theory makes sense.
My hybrids seemed to of slowed down as well and I've had a lot of rain storms.

On days that it rains or snows I can get abunch of hybrids. After a snowfall I got 6 new blue roses.
