Hybrids Hate Me

I'm breeding flowers and TTing to do so, and I cannot breed a purple windflower for the life of me. I've decided they hate me, since all the other hybrids I've bred for have materialised eventually lol.

Is anyone else struggling? Which hybrid hates you? Has anyone actually ever seen a purple windflower?

Well I can only comment on my own experience, as I don't TT, but purple windflowers are one of the ones I haven't bred yet so they're quite rare. Based on how much conflicting information there is around breeding one, I'd put it in the same category as flowers like green mums, purple pansies, and blue roses. Which combo are you using to try to get one?

For me, what I'm having trouble with is breeding purple mums. And those don't even require hybrids to get them. I've gotten more purple tulips and purple windflowers than I have gotten purple mums.

I haven't made any purple Windflowers either yet. I'm trying to use two pink Windflowers that were made using blue/pink Windflowers but no luck yet.

I'm in the same boat! I haven't grown a single mum or cosmo! I've had only 3 of each of them for weeks now

Strange! Not even pink/orange cosmos? They seem really common from red + white and red + yellow, at least for me.

I've been trying to get blue hyacinths and finally I got two after a week. I haven't yet gotten blue windflowers or pansies.

I’ve only gotten one pink tulip.

hybrids are extra rare in this game, apparently.

All I know is that watering flowers increases the chance of hybrids. So rainy days are a great thing lol.

I have a handful of blue windflowers, half of which came from and island tour. I only have three purple windflowers, all of which I got from planting the blue windflowers close together.

I agree though, they’re a bit more time consuming to get.

You should haha! The more flowers you have, the better you chances. Also be sure to water them every day.

I've been trying blue/blue, blue/pink, and pink/pink! Got desperate lately and have decided to also try blue/orange just in case, haha! Hopefully we all get what we want soon ^^

Yeah I've been trying the same combos too with no luck either haha. About to try the "hybrid pink" combo next. Saw it mentioned on some Japanese guides:

Hybrid Pink = Pink + Blue
Purple = Hybrid Pink + Hybrid Pink

I don't have a green thumb in real life and I definitely don't have one in game either. I'm also struggling just to get basic hybrids! I have a ton of blue pansies but they came from a mystery island.

Blue Hyacinths and Orange Lillies are my hybrid problems. For the blue I'm even using both possible combinations: Red + Red and White + White. I've gotten black lillies, pink lillies (just one), orange hyacinths and pink hyacinths no problem. Once I start getting my paws on rose seeds (whether the Brothers Nookling start selling them or I end up visiting people to buy the seeds), I can only imagine how getting every hybrid color of rose is gonna be lol.

I know how you feel. I've been trying for purple windflowers for almost 2 weeks now and I do TT every so often. I only have pink and blue windflowers and yet the purples won't spawn.

Also having difficulty with purple hyacinths

Black cosmoses are evading me. I don't even know for sure what they spawn from so I've been watering my patches of reds and oranges every day, but no luck yet.
