Hybrids are gone!

I awoke this morning to find several of my hybrids missing: two pink tulips and a blue pansy. I only regularly let best friends in my town now, so either someone on my best friends list has stolen them, or some of my hybrids are routinely disappearing (had a blue rose do the same about a week ago).

If this keeps up, I may have to just go it alone on ACNL from now on. As in no one allowed in my town at ANY time.

Sounds like someone took them.
If you're certain there's no chances of you accidentally having run over them
then there's really no other way for them to of disappeared.
I would probably supervise your friends from now on when they come over or...
put some "bait" hybrids around...then after each friend visits randomly take notes
on if something went missing after they left.

What makes it even worse is that these were people on my best friends list. My trust of pretty much everyone in the ACNL community has been shattered now.

This.. they're only hybrids. You'll get them back with a little work.

Just follow people around and you'll be fine.

you can play with others but only when you are around. I don't understand people who let their door open all day and are surprised hybrids or something are messing. ACNL is like real life, do you let people, who you barely know, enter in your house and leave them alone knowing that there are jewellery and money around in the house. If you know them in real life, you can trust them but anonymous people on internet, I think it is naive to trust people you don't even know. they can be nice, sure, but everyone has a dark side.

You can play with the community but only when you are around. I think you learnt something today, use this lesson and enjoy ACNL.

Okay, I'd like to apologize. I was less upset about losing my hybrids and more upset that someone I thought I could trust would steal from me. On the plus side, they didn't take the one black rose I had growing in plain view, and I still do have a fair few hybrids left.

Yes, I do. But hybrids never seem to spawn very often for me. Maybe how my flowers are laid out has something to do with it?

Yes, and only water the ones you want to breed. Even with beautiful town, watering makes a difference. Fertilizer helps too.

Yeah, pretty much just lay them all out like this And like PrayingMantis said, if you want pink roses only water for pink roses.
