Hybrid TBT Worth?

This TBT shop thread sells "gardening items" for 5 BTB each (including hybrids). The shop seems to be fairly popular, so it is safe to assume that people find the shop's prices reasonable.
This thread on the TBT Marketplace has someone selling hybrids for 3 BTB each, but it is also of note that the seller is "hoping to sell... quickly as [the items] take up too much space." It is then safe to assume that they are willing to go a bit below average market price in order to get rid of the items more quickly.
This TBT Marketplace thread, as well, has someone selling hybrids for 3 BTB each. However, they do also say the following: "I have way too much stuff so I'm just selling it all." This implies that they are also willing to sacrifice a bit of profit in order to get rid of the items more quickly.
NOTE: That thread has a status indicator in its title (it is currently "OFFLINE"), so the title may change by the time you get to it (and then the link would not work, I think). Just in case you may need this information: the thread is by user Goldenapple and the title (as of now) is "| Hybrids & Unorderables | Status:[OFFLINE]"
Of course, the discrepancy could also be attributed to the fact that large shops that have an established place in the TBT Marketplace are able to charge slightly more because they are known for providing fast and reliable service.
I also just found this TBT Marketplace thread (also with a status indicator in the title -- which is currently "ஐﻬ Some items ஐﻬ Gardening ஐﻬ Sets [OFFLINE]" -- and the thread was created by user Witch) which has hybrids for sale at 2 BTB each. (Gold roses are 3 BTB each, however.)
I guess, then, that the average is about 2-5 BTB per hybrid!! The amount you can charge per hybrid probably depends heavily on the context in which the hybrids are being sold (in a "store" or a stand-alone thread, in a bulk order or just one or two hybrids by themselves, etc.)
I apologize for not being able to find a single particular thread that has this sort of information! That would probably be a good idea, though. I know there's a thread like that for the tracking of the going prices of collectibles. (This thread.)

Well I'm online now selling hybrids. :3 I'm just selling them for 3 BTB so I can get rid of them (as said by applecarts) and have more space.
Just wondering how exactly this market would work? Say a hybrid sells for 5 BTB, converting that to in-game bells with the rate of 20 million per 100 BTB (the average right now I believe) would result in ONE MILLION per hybrid. I know nobody would buy hybrids at that rate, yet they would if it were in BTB. Why? I don't understand.

Maybe their minds think wow 5 tbt is such a small amount compared to 1 million per hybrid.

I do think 5 BTB is a fair amount for a hybrid though; it's more the economy on here that's f***ed up. 20 million for 10-20 posts worth of BTB is way too overpriced to me. 
But hey, selling for BTB does seem to net you a lot more if you plan to do a trade to in-game bells, so that's a plus. Just curious, how many would you pay for hybrids in in-game bells? I might start a hybrid shop myself.

I usually buy hybrids for 99k each hybrid somebody was selling some like those and another was buying something like that too so I adopted the price. Frozen is selling some hybrids for 50k each I guess. usually around those price.

I think people are entitled to pay how they want to pay right? nobody is cheap. It is your hard earned IGB and TBT...

I tend to pay with BTB/TBT, if only because it's faster and easier if I'm buying in bulk (though granted, you could use the Re-Tail method for that).
For a price I'd say 5 BTB/TBT is my absolute maximum and it depends on what I'm buying (like say golden roses). Most of the time I've paid between 3 and 4 BTB/TBT.
But yeah, if you do the Math, then those are some rather expensive flowers.

This. Though recently I've only seen 2/3TBT lately which is really nice.
5TBT each sounds great but wait until you buy 20 hybrids.
