Hunting or amiibo-ing one of the new villagers, who's on the outs?

I'd like to get Shino to move to my island (was hoping she would be sisterly/uchi, but she's peppy RIP ). I think I might move out Chai, even though I moved her in a month or two ago. TBH I really like Shino's design more than Chai's, and elephants aren't really a favorite species of mine in this game. Plus I already have Etoile as a Sanrio villager.

I hope I can get my hands on some amiibo cards and get lucky enough to pull her card. Otherwise I'll island hop or look on etsy for spoofed amiibos.

*Edit: I'd also like to mention that I would like to have at least ONE of the new villagers introduced in this game. I tried hunting for Judy before but gave up. Honestly I'd rather have another peppy villager than another snooty.

Depending on their personalities, I'm interested in Marlo and Petri. I pre-ordered 2 packs of the new amiibo cards, so I'm hoping for them. If I don't, I might trade for them or buy them individually. Now that vacation homes are a thing, I might let go of some of my current permanent villagers and rotate villagers instead, especially if I end up really liking some of the new villagers. That way I can still visit them, but not have to have them on my island all the time.

They just confirmed this in Pocket Camp and lets just say I changed my mind on getting Sasha and I am going to get Ione instead.

I haven't settled on my permanent villagers, I've been enjoying letting some villagers come and go. For me, it all depends on what their house exteriors look like. Shino and Tiansheng would fit my main island I'm guessing, and Sasha would fit on my second. But I might just move any of them just to try them out.

I know what you mean about the house visuals... right now I have Sherb and Audie, and their houses are nearly identical in clolor, style, etc and it drives me nuts. lol... I like both villagers, but I like Sherb slightly more so Audie's gotta go. lol

I will let Chai move to make room for Shino. Chai was a temporary villager anyways, while I've been waiting to find Tangy (got bored of my previous peppy, Piper, who I had for well over a year). I want both Tangy and Shino, so whenever I manage to get both, I'll have to figure out who to boot then. Maybe it'll be Whitney. I like her, but I've also had her a long time and already have another snooty.

Main island: Bunnie is out Shino is in.
Second island (cycle island): Most likely island I will upload the new villagers, so I can give them away
Third island: My Sanrio/Easter egg colored themed island; I think Sasha would great addition to it.

Tbh I'm not sure yet until I know what personality Sasha and Shino are. I like to have a balanced amount of personality types so I'll have to decide once theirs is revealed.

Now that I've seen their personalities!! Etoile is going to be replaced with Shino since I have 3 normals and don't want Bunnie to leave and Beau will be replaced with Sasha! I might replace Chelsea with Ione as well but that'll depend on if I can get her without losing my sanity. I'm also thinking of getting Diana instead of Freya bc I think she'd be cute with Shino but not sure on that yet!

I was going to kick someone out to make room for Sasha, but him being confirmed lazy kinda ruined that. I can't tolerate more than one lazy and I sacrificed my soul to Nookazon to get Dizzy on this gosh darn island. If one of the new guys or gals pops up or if I get one of their amiibo cards, I MAY consider moving them in, but legit Sasha broke my heart and none of the others interest me.

Raymond might be leaving my island, so I can get a few of the new villagers cycled in. Tempted to let Shino be the new 10th and final villager, since she'd fit into the fantasy aspect of the island more than Raymond.

Erik is moving out to make room for Sasha. I’ve been rotating lazy villagers since the game launched but I think he might be more permanent.

My current villagers are: Ankha, Annalisa, Bella, Diva, Kabuki, Klaus, Pekoe, Ribbot, Tucker, and Vic.

I'm planning to replace Ribbot so that Cephalobot can be the robot on the island. I'll have Ribbot return to New Leaf, so it's fine.

I'd been kind of thinking about replacing Pekoe for a while since my friend has her too and I'd rather we have different villagers, so I'll replace her with Tiansheng. He'll be able to fill the Jock role which Ribbot will be leaving behind.

I've also been planning to replace Kabuki, though I love him, and had figured I would've been replacing him with Olaf. That said, while it's still possible I might do that, I feel like three Smugs might be overdoing it so I might instead bring in Rio. She's a returning villager with this update rather than an entirely new villager, but hey, close enough.
