How's everyone doing finding Fall recipes?

Now that it’s maple leaf season I have 42 leaves so far, I feel like I’m struggling though because I have crappy reflexes and the leaves don’t stick around long enough for me to try again at catching them

Yep, Isabelle gave it to both my main and my alt. I have no idea what's lurking behind all these unopened presents...hopefully most of the recipes. I want the arch for decoration purposes, but all the others because I'm trying to get all the recipes.

Huh. Normally her recipes are "unique" in that only she can give them. The arch is really nice. I've enjoyed customizing them white because it's a nice transition piece from autumn to winter.

No, the seasonal recipe that Isabelle normally gives out is obtainable through balloons. I never got the Mush Wreath from Isabelle on my alternate character (I think this was a bug that occurred because I had bought and learned the Mush Wreath recipe on my main character) but later found it while farming balloons with my alternate.

I've had a frustrating day of work, so I'm really not looking forward to more grinding for balloons. xD The mechanism for obtaining the Spooky DIY set has spoiled me.

No, the seasonal recipe that Isabelle normally gives out is obtainable through balloons. I never got the Mush Wreath from Isabelle on my alternate character (I think this was a bug that occurred because I had bought and learned the Mush Wreath recipe on my main character) but later found it while farming balloons with my alternate.

Can confirm. Shot down 34 balloons so far (Tree's bounty big tree, Leaf stool, and Maple-leaf pond stone were the only unique recipes I got), and in one of those was the Red-leaf pile, which is also the recipe I received from Isabelle this morning.

Phew, I'm glad they didn't lock the Red-leaf Pile and other seasonal recipes from Isabelle behind her sending it directly to our Nook Phones.

Out of curiosity, were you learning the new recipes as you went and still getting duplicates?

Unfortunately, no, which I think was my problem. Chances are good I wouldn't have gotten 4 Leaf stool DIYs had I been learning them as I went.

That makes sense - I noticed that myself with the Mush recipes, though it sort of worked out in my favour to help out my friends.

In testing the theory, the last 2 out of 3 balloons I shot down had unique recipes (pockets were mostly empty), Maple leaf pochette and Maple leaf umbrella. I'm down to just needing Autumn wall, Colored-leaves flooring, the Tree's bounty arch (I'll probably get this last, since it's the one I want the most).

For the amount of time I’ve put in (comparatively low compared to other events-not because of lack of enthusiasm but I just got crafting supplies) I’ve managed to obtain a fair number of the diys related to it (3/9)! I will be putting more time into it so I’m hoping to complete my set of diys sooner than later.

I’ve been balloon farming for a couple of days now, and I’ve gotten about half of the DIYs I need (I did have a couple beforehand from Southern Hemisphere friends, though). It’s so tedious.

I got the mushroom stuff from a giveaway so I don't need them but I just realized that I haven't found any in balloons or anything so far. I did find a few maple diys though. I really just want the leaf stool but I haven't been able to find it yet.
