How would you define "success"? Is it acquiring fame, fortune, happiness, or all of that? Or is it something else to you? When do you know you have become successful?

It's based on accomplishing your own goals. The cultural term successful usually refers to someone who lives with good character and has done well for himself as well as others.

Trundle's got it. To me it's about setting challenges and overcoming them. Figured I don't need tons of money to be happy and found life was much better when not stressing out over it all the time.

I consider myself successful when I can support myself, my lifestyle, and am able to achieve my goals.

This sounds like something my philosophy professor would ask. But yea just achieving what you want to. If you want to be rich but don't care about happiness. If you want a family but don't care about what job you have or what kind of house you live in. If your goal is to be famous...whatever it is, you're successful if you do what you set out to do, however big/small.

talent to me. im never really satisfied with myself at all. if theres someone more talented than me, then i view them as more successful, and my goal is to always close that gap.

Actually opening up and finding someone, instead of being a toxic mess. Success is having a suburban family life, with minimal debt, and someone you truly love.

being comfortable with who you are,
trying to achieve your personal goals,
and being ok if you failed at it and just get back up and try again c:
to me, success is not an ending point, it's a never ending process

As long as you're happy and fufilled, you've succeeded. Some people are always wanting more, so although they may look successful, they might not feel it. It's a matter of opinion.
