I can actually tolerate it quite well, since I spray pepper spray on most of my meals, making me pretty immune to really spicy foods. I remember once when I was little though, me and my grandma were around the neighborhood and saw a pepper bush infront of someones house, and we a picked a couple. They were like black and red peppers. When we got home and my mom got home, I ate the black one and because possessed by an insane entity for a good 30 minutes and started smashing everything that was in my way, and i ran to the fridge to grab the 1 gallon milk jar, and i started chugging it all down and then went through another one spilling milk everywhere and the spicyness still didn't go away.
I used to be able to eat spicy food, then I had a bacterial infection in my stomach and when it finally went away, my stomach started responding badly to spicy food. Since that happened I don't really eat anything spicy because it messes with my stomach and I'd just rather not deal with that.
as a hispanic, i handle it not as well as my people
i can stand it, but my body starts reacting quickly with the runny nose, bits of tears, and coughing. i still eat it if it appeals to me tho
I looove spicy food. I was raised on it and I tolerate it really damn well.
I usually put sriracha or pepper on non-spicy things 'cause I just find them super boring.
I like sriracha chips and jalapeno chips. That's about all I can handle, but still, after a good handful of chips I'm shouting "IT'S SO SPICE!!" and chugging soda... ^_^;
I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy food - probably more than most people. I've always liked spice even as a kid, a couple times I've brought my own ghost pepper hot sauce (bhut jolokia) to restaurants to use.
I even did the Man vs Food spicy ramen challenge at Orochon in L.A. lol!
