How weird would it be to give and Octopus an octopus?

Flurry’s house comes with a pet hamster, so I think it’s fine. My partner gave an octopus to marina and she was very happy ‘she said something like ‘isn’t the natural world wonderful’

This definitely implies to me that the octopus villagers are not from the "natural world."
So where did they come from? Magic? Super science?

Or naming any of the pig villagers Chops, Rasher, Pancetti, Pigleg or Hambo.... (Pork chops; rasher is type of cut, I think bacon; comes from pancetta a type of bacon; I mean... come on, good thing he's not part of NH; name comes from ham and Rambo, he's not part of NH either).

Wait...Raddle is lazy. If you give a lazy villager a fish they will say that they want to eat the fish. ACNH considers frogs a fish. So if you give Raddle a frog.......
