i managed to get my museum built within the first day of blathers being on my island, and ive donated a fair amount of things to the museum...how do i get our favourite art scammer on the island?
also, i went to someone elses island n their museum looked upgraded, so how do i do that as well?
I believe it's 60 items total need to be donated for Redd to appear. Afterward, Blathers will mention to you that he feels like the museum could use a new wing. The next day, Isabelle should mention a shady character being spotted, and Redd will appear on your island (be on the lookout, his boat will not be in the secret beach, you'll have to find him wandering around somewhere). He'll sell you a piece of genuine art that you can take to Blathers to trigger the museum upgrade. Afterward, Redd will start appearing as a random daily NPC.
